Despite the relatively large success that'it has had its theatrical release in 1995 ($262 million in the world still, c'is not nothing) this film seems sadly a bit forgotten by the public. The movie is lightweight, pleasant pleasant to look at. The special effects are old, of course, but hey... this is not serious. A little "less" anyway.. When Don Lokwood (Gene Kelly) presents his ideas with his producer for the transformation of the movie musical... the songs/dances are so viewed.. but it is a little long... I spent a very good evening... I am very disappointed with the product received that does not correspond at all to what I ordered : no metal case, visual, non-compliant, and therefore not of blu-ray :(I knew Jane Austen only through his famous book Pride and prejudice, I read it wasn't so long ago that thanks to the film by John Wright, with Keira Knightley, which is superb. I had so wanted to see another adaptation of these novels. I watched this film with as much emotion as Pride and prejudice. Besides, I do not understand why this book is less famous than its predecessor because it is also well. The 2 love stories are great and the characters are so different, charismatics are endearing. This adaptation, although I have not yet read the book, is perfect, the actors are all superb, with Kate Winslet and Emma thompson who are both beautiful, Hugh grant is perfect in the role of a gentleman stuck, and a mention special of Alan Rickman that is incredible!!! In short, a film that made me want to throw myself on the book and I'll review it with pleasure!! Received product in blister in a reasonable period of time. I can confirm that it meets my expectations in every way. No fault to deplore the reading of it.
